KUNZ AETS Aircraft Emergency Towing System

KUNZ AETS Aircraft Emergency Towing Sets is used for aircraft towing and recovery operations.

The set consist of load cells, round slings, shackles and digital indication equipment mounted in an aluminium case.

The permissible towing load can be set to give visual and acoustical signal in case the load is exceeded. The peak load can be held in memory.

Sets are available for 5, 20, 30, 55 and 80 tons capacity per landing gear.

KUNZ MULTI-WHEEL AIRCRAFT RECOVERY DOLLY

KUNZ Multi-Wheel Aircraft Recovery Dollies for ‘flat tires’ or ‘damaged wheel’ scenarios ensure rapid removal of an aircraft from runways or taxiways.

The immobilized aircraft is towed away with the damaged landing gear on the Recovery Dolly.

All wheels are connected by three independent hydraulic circuits to enable precise height adjustment and pivoting of the platform. The hydraulic suspension ensures that equal loads are applied to all wheel pairs at any time. The wheels are 360° rotatable and the rear wheels can be locked to avoid uncontrolled movement.

The KUNZ Multi Wheel Recovery Dolly provides a modular design and is available for various capacities for small jets, narrow and wide body aircraft.

KUNZ Disabled Aircraft Recovery Trailer are available in two sizes, 40 tons and 90 tons capacity to move narrow-bodied and wide-bodied aircrafts in NLG or MLG collapsed scenarios.

KUNZ also offers a Recovery Trailer System for ‘all gears collapsed’ scenarios.

The specially designed transition equipment for aircraft fuselage and wing reduces the risk of secondary damage during movement and speeds up the recovery process.
